Northspan President & CEO Elissa Hansen was formally inducted as one of five honorees for Brainerd Public Schools’ Legendary Women Class of 2024 during a program on March 21 at the Gichi-ziibi Center for the Arts in Brainerd.
Established in 2018, the Hall of Fame has recognized 55 female graduates, celebrating their “exceptional achievement, leadership, and service.”
“The Brainerd Public Schools Legendary Women Hall of Fame is a testament to the rich tradition and history of opportunity, innovation, and success exhibited through the legendary women of Brainerd Public Schools,” wrote Karla Axelson, a member of the Legendary Women of Brainerd Public Schools organizing committee, in a March 2 Brainerd Dispatch column. “We hope that their achievements will inspire future generations of Warriors to achieve their dreams.”
